Weekly Challenge - “A”
For the next 26 weeks, we will have a Yoga pose or yoga related challenge that starts with the next letter in the Alphabet. The challenge will be similar each week, but we might ask for some alterations.
This week we start with the letter A. We have picked an absolute LEGEND of a yoga asana. That’s right folks, we are asking for your best Adho Mukha Svanasana! For those (like me) who don’t what the heck this is, it’s commonly referred to as the Downward-Facing Dog pose!
What we are challenging you to do is a little more than to “do a pose and take a picture”. We are challenging you to get up and be active. Try something new or work on improving something that you’ve done a million times before! Often times, even the simplest of poses can be passed through without thinking about what your posture is. Pay attention to your body while you work on this pose. Have you been going through the motions and forgetting to feel? Yoga gives back what is put in!
Now. Since we mentioned the challenging part of the … challenge, let’s circle back to the pictures and posts stuff!
