This workshop isn’t just about asana alignment… It’s also (and more importantly) a space to get curious!
A space to ask the questions that come up in class—the cues, techniques, and language you hear but maybe aren’t quite sure how to feel or do yet.
Have you ever wondered:
• What do you mean “lift the arches”… how do I actually do that? • Am I doing diaphragmatic breathing correctly? • What does it mean to breathe into the side ribs or back body… and why does it feel so hard to get the breath there? • What are the bandhas—mula, uddiyana, jalandhara? • Why do we even use bandhas? • What do you mean “lengthen your tail”… am I doing it? And what’s the purpose? • What are the 8 principles Steph talks about?
If you’ve asked yourself any of these (or something similar), this workshop is for you.
Come with your curiosities, your wonderments, your “wait… what does that mean?” moments. We’ll explore together—through asana, breath, meditation, mantra… all of it. Join us Saturday, May 23rd after Sadhana from 12:30-1:30
I’m really looking forward to this one. And if it resonates, we’ll be offering these workshops regularly
And if you’re feeling called to go even deeper… Our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training begins in June
