There is a very real cost associated with operating the studio each day. We pay rent, utilities, and service fees for almost everything and these bills do not stop. Llamaste Yoga and Healing has calculated this cost to be $69.00 per day. Our goal is to not only break even, but also to make enough of a profit that we can afford to grow, buy new equipment, and increase our advertising budget. We also want to add new classes to the schedule and have more instructors which all cost money.

To allow the potential for studio growth and expansion, we are offering two structures for space rental.

I am holding a workshop and charging my clients for attendance, and I would like to use Llamaste Yoga and Healing’s space.

For the paid workshop structure, we will have a minimum use rental cost of $69.00 plus a rate of $10.00 per paid attendee. Your attendance rate will not be monitored by Llamaste Yoga and Healing, and we appreciate your honesty in the matter. Depending on your intended use of the space, there may be a maximum occupancy of about 30 attendees. We will NOT charge extra to split the course into two same-day sessions if your attendance will be higher, but we will need to know if the start or end times are changing as they may conflict with currently scheduled events/classes.

I am holding a workshop for free to my clients and I’d like to use Llamaste Yoga and Healing’s space.

For the free workshop structure, we will have a minimum use rental cost of $69.00 plus a flat charge of $50.00 for covering cleaning costs, toiletries, and other consumed items. Depending on your intended use of the space, there may be a maximum occupancy of about 30 attendees. We will NOT charge extra to split the course into two same-day sessions if your attendance will be higher, but we will need to know if the start or end times are changing as they may conflict with currently scheduled events/classes.

OUR COMMITMENT:
Llamaste Yoga and Healing will make sure that your workshop is posted on our website/schedule with appropriate links to drive clients to your event registration page. We will make sure that the studio space is clean and presentable, the restroom will be stocked with bathroom tissue, soap, and hand towels, and we will have lined garbage cans available inside the building with a larger trash receptacle at the back of the building. The studio space will be ready to receive you and your clients!

WHAT WE ASK:
We ask that you leave the studio reasonably clean and organized when you are finished. Please clean up spills promptly if they happen. Inform us as soon as possible if there are any issues with the restroom (clogged toilet, sink, or other issues). We live close by and can quietly slip in to fix minor issues during the workshop if needed. Ultimately, be great to the space so it can continue to be great for others.

CANCELLATIONS:
In the event that you need to cancel a workshop that is already on the schedule:

If the host needs to cancel the workshop, the agreed upon minimum space rental cost ($69.00) will only be refundable for cancellations earlier than five (5) days prior to the event. This allows Llamaste Yoga and Healing enough time to schedule other classes/workshops with enough time to generate interest to potential clients allowing a small hope for compensation due to loss of revenue.

If the workshop host cannot make the scheduled date, but they have a viable substitute to properly handle the event, no cancellation will be required, and everything continues as agreed upon. The substitute host will act on behalf of the original host, but not on behalf of Llamaste Yoga and Healing.

If a host cancels more than two (2) workshops (on Llamaste Yoga and Healing schedule) in any 3-month period, Llamaste Yoga reserves the right to charge an advertising fee of no less than $100.00 that will cover the cost of time spent advertising the workshops while not benefiting from the workshops or the potential of new clientele from the attendees of the workshop. This advertising fee will be added to the next workshop scheduling done between Llamaste Yoga and Healing and the host of the workshop.
